The financial management project is a public welfare project initiated by Citigroup Foundation and promoted by Baxter Education. It aims to help middle school students establish a correct view of money, consumption and financial management, improve their sense of time, purpose and responsibility, and master important life skills such as life planning and financial management as soon as possible.

The financial management project provides middle school students with financial management books, financial management courses and financial management lectures, and organizes students to carry out colorful club activities, so that students can learn and understand financial management knowledge and skills, covering important financial management knowledge, such as: the importance of personal financial planning, the time value of funds, financial planning, international payments, rational consumption, cash value, foreign exchange, stocks, bonds, funds, personal financial credit and credit cards.

The project has been launched in Shanghai and Beijing. At present, more than 20,000 middle school students from dozens of key middle schools, such as Shanghai Middle School, No.2 Middle School Attached to China Normal University, No.2 Middle School Attached to National People's Congress and No.2 Middle School Attached to Beijing Normal University, have participated in the project, which will be extended to Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu, Hangzhou and other places to further expand the coverage and influence of financial management courses. In July, 2009, it was sponsored by Shanghai Xuhui District Education Bureau and supported by the East. Com held a debate contest with the theme of middle school students' financial management.
