Organize the centralized training of new curriculum teachers, improve teachers' professional skills, actively organize teachers to participate in the training of new textbooks organized by Zigong Education Bureau, and strictly follow the requirements of the Ministry of Education of "training first, then taking up posts, not training, not taking up posts", and regard teacher training as the primary link related to the success or failure of curriculum reform. On September 16, 2004, all members of the 2006 Fuxi River expedition team visited the source of Fuxi River. The whole activity was strongly supported and cared by school leaders. After careful preparation, the detailed exploration scheme and safety scheme were formulated, and the patrol route of "Shuanghekou in Fenghuang Township-Shuangxi Reservoir in Rongxian County-Shuangxi Reservoir Peninsula" was determined. The team members inspected the water quality, landforms, vegetation and other conditions at the source of Fuxi, felt the mystery of the source of Shuangxi, learned about the function of Shuangxi Reservoir and the customs of the reservoir area, and conducted an interesting investigation and quiz on puzzle knowledge. This overall source-exploring activity is another new achievement made by the school since it launched the research-based learning project "Our Fuxi River" in grade 2005. Some wonderful scenes in this activity were edited and made into exhibition boards-"Silhouette of Fuxi Seeking Sources", which was exhibited inside and outside the school and was well received by leaders at all levels and all walks of life.

At the beginning of 2006, Fuxi's source investigation reached the following conclusions: 1, the water quality of Shuanghekou in Fenghuang Township is worrying. Dongyuan Weiyuan River is black, smelly and dirty; Xushui River in Xiyuan County, Jacky is seriously polluted by domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. The eutrophication of the East-West River and the wild growth of water hyacinth in a large area directly affect the water quality of the urban section of Fuxi River below. 2. Shuangxi Reservoir is the main source of domestic water in Zigong City, with clear water, flocks of wild ducks, good water quality and high vegetation coverage. 3. The reservoir peninsula has dense forests, lush grass, fresh air and beautiful environment. And put forward the following suggestions to Zigong municipal government and society: 1. Controlling east and west pollution sources is the key to ensure good water quality in Fuxi River. To control the pollution of Weiyuan River in Dongyuan, Zigong Municipal Government and Weiyuan County Government need to coordinate and solve it together. 2. Shuangxi reservoir area should also expand vegetation coverage and strive to maintain ecological balance; Actively develop ecological agriculture, minimize the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and avoid pollution to lakes. (3) No motorboat travel is allowed in Shuangxi Reservoir, and the number of wooden cruise ships is limited; It is forbidden to discharge domestic sewage into the reservoir.
