In-service civil servants will not be fired if they find tattoos. In principle, people with tattoos can also apply for civil servants. At present, there is no explicit stipulation that people with tattoos should not be employed, but there is an explicit stipulation that people with tattoos should not be employed in special positions such as police. The appointment of civil servants, adhere to both ability and political integrity, morality first, adhere to all corners of the country, meritocracy, adhere to the cause first, fair and upright, highlight political standards, pay attention to work performance.

Civil servants shall meet the following conditions:

1, with China nationality;

2. At least 18 years old;

3. Support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s leadership and socialist system;

4. Have good political quality and moral conduct;

5. Have the physical conditions and psychological quality to perform their duties normally;

6. Have the educational level and working ability that meet the requirements of the post;

7. Other conditions prescribed by law.

Two, civil servants enjoy the following rights:

1, to obtain the working conditions that should be met when performing duties;

2. It is not allowed to be dismissed, demoted, expelled or punished without legal reasons or legal procedures;

3. Get paid wages and enjoy welfare and insurance benefits;

4. Participate in training;

5. Criticism and suggestions on the work of organs and leaders;

6. lodge complaints and allegations;

7. Apply for resignation;

8. Other rights stipulated by law.

Legal basis:

Article 88 of the Civil Service Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall be dismissed under any of the following circumstances:

(a) in the annual assessment, it has been determined to be incompetent for two consecutive years;

(two) unable to do the current job, and do not accept other arrangements;

(three) due to the adjustment, cancellation, merger or reduction of the staffing of this organ, the work needs to be adjusted, and I refuse to make reasonable arrangements;

(4) Failing to perform the obligations of civil servants, failing to abide by the laws and disciplines of civil servants, failing to change after education, being unfit to continue working in government organs, and being dismissed;

(five) absenteeism, business trip, without justifiable reasons for more than fifteen days in a row, or more than thirty days in a year.
