Standardized resident training is the only way for medical students to grow into qualified doctors. Since 20 14, the training of pediatric residents has progressed smoothly and achieved remarkable results. In order to further adapt to the current situation of resident training, meet the needs of pediatric training in China and improve the quality of pediatric training, the pediatric professional Committee organized expert representatives to brainstorm. Appropriately revise the two standards of "Standardized Training Base for Pediatric Residents" and "Standardized Training Contents and Standards for Residents". The revised standard follows the principles of continuity, accessibility, advancement and consistency of the two standards. They mainly focus on reducing the scale of the base, putting forward the concept of professional groups, flexible professional rotation, and strengthening hierarchical training. In order to improve the comprehensive ability of clinical research and teaching of residents and students in the base without increasing the size of beds. I believe a good policy will guide and support it.
