Hunan Rural Credit Cooperatives Association (hereinafter referred to as "Provincial Credit Cooperatives") is a provincial-level local financial institution with independent legal personality approved by the provincial party committee and the provincial government and the China Banking Regulatory Commission. Entrusted by the provincial government, it performs management, guidance, coordination and service functions for the rural credit cooperatives in the province (including rural cooperative banks and rural commercial banks, the same below). The provincial party committee and the provincial government manage the provincial association according to departmental units.
