Specialist nurses of Chinese Nursing Association are national nurses.

In order to train specialized nurses with intensive care ability, Chinese Nursing Association will hold the 11th Training Course for Specialized Nurses in Intensive Care in Beijing on February 6th, 2003, which is a national continuing medical education project.

Nursing specialty trains senior professionals with basic knowledge and skills of humanities and social sciences, medicine, preventive health care and basic theory of nursing, who can engage in clinical nursing, preventive health care, nursing management, nursing teaching and nursing research in the nursing field.
