The predecessor of Xi Siyuan College is the Training Center of Mechanical Engineering College of Xi Jiaotong University. 1998, Xi 'an Siyuan Science and Technology Training College was established with the industrial investment of Xi Jiaotong University. Incorporated into the national unified enrollment plan in 2002. In 2004, it was upgraded to a national undergraduate university and officially renamed Xi Siyuan College. Siyuan's management team and academic leaders are mostly old professors of Xi Jiaotong University. In short, the relationship between Siyuan College and Jiaotong University is the same as that of a century-old prestigious school.
