A skill training base integrating live working, transmission lines and power cables —— State Grid Corporation Power Transmission and Distribution Live Working Training Base was formally established in Wangxin, Changsha on June 10. Niu Lijun, Deputy General Manager of Hunan Electric Power Company, Cao, Deputy General Manager of Hunan Electric Power Company, Director of Changsha Electric Power Bureau and Party Secretary of Changsha Electric Power Bureau Wang Zhouxiang unveiled the training base.

As one of the first power transmission and distribution live working training bases awarded by State Grid Corporation, based on Wangxin Skills Training Department of Hunan Company, after two years of intense construction, it now covers an area of 100 mu, with lines of various voltage levels ranging from 0.4 kV to 500 kV, which can be used for 10 kV, 35 kV,1/kloc-. There are more than 30 full-time (part-time) theoretical teachers and more than 50 full-time (part-time) operation demonstration teachers in the three majors of live line operation, transmission line and power cable. The base is an important position for State Grid Corporation of China and Hunan Company to cultivate skilled talents, and it is the engine of higher-level live working teaching and research, and it has the conditions to hold a national live working qualification certification training class.
