Members who have reached the age of 28 and have not held positions in the group should go through the formalities of withdrawing from the group.

* * * Obligations of Youth League members

First, study hard Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, learn the basic knowledge of the League, learn scientific, cultural and professional knowledge, and constantly improve the ability to serve the people.

Second, publicize and implement the party's basic line and principles and policies, actively participate in reform, opening up and socialist modernization, strive to complete the tasks assigned by the League organization, and play an exemplary role in study, labor, work and other social activities.

Third, consciously abide by the laws of the state and the discipline of the League, implement the resolutions of the League, carry forward the new socialist fashion, advocate socialist morality, safeguard the interests of the country and the people, stand up and fight bravely to protect the safety of state property and people.

Receive national defense education, enhance national defense awareness, and actively fulfill the obligation to defend the motherland. Learn from the people with an open mind, help young people make progress with enthusiasm, and reflect their opinions and demands in a timely manner. Carry out criticism and self-criticism, be brave in correcting shortcomings and mistakes, and consciously safeguard unity.

* * * Rights of Youth League Members

Participate in relevant meetings of the League and various activities organized by the League, and accept the education and training organized by the League. Have the right to vote, stand for election and stand for election in groups.

Participate in the discussion of the work of the group and the issues of concern to the youth in the meetings and newspapers of the group, make suggestions on the work of the group, and supervise and criticize the leading organs and staff of the group.

If you have different opinions on the resolution of the League, you can keep it on the premise of resolutely implementing it, you can put forward it to the superior organization of the League, participate in the meeting organized by the League to discuss your own punishment, you can defend yourself, and other members can testify and defend themselves.

Put forward requests, appeals and accusations to organizations at all levels within the group and even to the central government, and ask the relevant organizations to give responsible answers. Organizations and individuals at any level have no right to deprive members of their rights.

* * * Requirements for Youth League Members

Young people who apply to join the league should be introduced by two league members. The introducer shall be responsible for explaining the articles of association of the League to the introduced person and explaining the ideas, performance and experience of the introduced person to the organization of the League.

Young people who want to join the League should apply to the branch committee, fill in the volunteer form, and become league members only after discussion and approval by the branch meeting and the superior committee. Young people who have been approved to join the League will be qualified as League members from the date of adoption of the branch meeting.

New members must be sworn in under the league flag. The oath is as follows: I voluntarily join the China * * * Production Youth League, resolutely support the leadership of the China * * * Production Party, abide by the League's articles of association, carry out the League's resolutions, fulfill the League's obligations, strictly observe the League's discipline, study hard, work actively, bear hardships first, enjoy later, and strive for the cause of * * *.

League organizations shall reward members who have performed their duties in an exemplary manner and made remarkable achievements in socialist modernization and the cause of defending the motherland. Awards are divided into: notification and commendation, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, provincial, municipal (prefectural), county-level youth league committees and grassroots youth league committees awarded the title of outstanding league members.

For members who do not implement the resolutions of the League and violate the articles of association, the organization of the League should criticize and help them in the spirit of learning from the past and saving lives. If the circumstances are serious, disciplinary action will be given.

Punishment is divided into: warning, serious warning, revocation of duties in the league, detention for observation, and expulsion from the league.

The probation period is half a year or one year. Members have no right to vote, stand for election and vote in the league, and may not be used as referees for young people to join the league. If the probation period expires and the mistakes are corrected, the above rights of its members shall be restored in time; Those who insist on correcting their mistakes will be expelled from the league.

Disciplinary action against members must be discussed and approved by the branch meeting and reported to the superior Committee for approval. The punishment of expelling a league member from the Party membership must be approved by the grass-roots committee of the League authorized by the county committee or the committee above the county level.

The organization of the League must make a disciplinary decision on the members, and must be serious and prudent and seek truth from facts. When the general meeting of members of the branch discusses and decides the punishment to members, except in special circumstances, they should absorb themselves and listen to their opinions carefully. If I refuse to accept it, I can lodge a complaint, and the relevant league organizations must be responsible for handling it or transmitting it quickly, and shall not withhold it.

Members are free to leave the alliance. If members want to leave the League, they should submit a written report to the branch committee, which will decide to remove them and report them to the superior committee for the record.

For six consecutive months, members who do not pay the tour fee, participate in the organization and life of the group, or do not do the work assigned by the group organization for six consecutive months without justifiable reasons are deemed to have left the group on their own. If a member leaves the League voluntarily, the general meeting of the branch will decide to remove his name and report it to the superior committee for approval.
