According to the Notice on Printing and Distributing: (No.2010] 2643) and the Notice of the National Development and Reform Commission on Printing and Distributing: (No.2407), the Development and Reform Commission, together with relevant departments, issued a notice on State Grid Corporation and China Southern Power Grid Corporation. The assessment results are hereby announced as follows:
In 20 14, State Grid Corporation and China Southern Power Grid Corporation continued to deepen demand side management, innovate management mechanism, increase capital investment, strengthen platform construction and expand training methods. According to the assessment results of provincial power grid enterprises by local economic operation authorities, combined with the cross-examination between regions and the spot check of some regions by the expert group organized by our Committee and relevant departments, on the whole, in 20 14 years, both State Grid Corporation and China Southern Power Grid Corporation exceeded the target task of power demand side management, saving electricity 13 1 100 million kilowatt hours. Except Tibet, power grid enterprises in 30 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) participated in the assessment, and all the targets and tasks in 20 14 were completed (see the annex for details). Beijing, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Ningxia, Guangdong, Hainan and other provinces with a high proportion of social energy conservation and outstanding assessment organization and management work shall be notified and praised.
In the next step, local economic operation authorities and power grid enterprises should take the opportunity of deepening the reform of power system, actively explore new power demand side management mechanisms such as demand response, continue to increase power saving, especially social power saving, strengthen the construction and application of power demand side management platform, apply Internet technology to enrich training means, pay attention to publicity and guidance, and further enhance the enthusiasm of all parties to participate in power demand side management.
