What level of Japanese is required to evaluate the title of engineer?
It seems that senior engineers only require English for the time being, but they require A-level certificates or qualified scores in foreign language proficiency tests. Among them, those who joined the work before the end of 1977, scored 45 points in Grade A of the foreign language proficiency test for professional titles in 2004 and beyond, and met one of the following conditions may be exempted from the test:

1, college degree or above in foreign languages;

2. Get a doctorate;

3. Have the corresponding study abroad experience recognized by the state (the study abroad experience must be recognized by the Chinese embassy in the country and issued by the returned overseas students, or certified by the study abroad service center of the Ministry of Education);

4. Published foreign language monographs and translated works ("foreign language monographs and translated works" refer to works (including technical works) written and translated in foreign languages by myself independently or as the main translator, which are official publications);

5. Engaged in professional and technical work in grass-roots units below townships ("grass-roots units below townships" refers to grass-roots units directly under the township government or directly under its jurisdiction);

6. Take the Foreign Language Examination (BFT) for candidates who are trained abroad by national industrial and commercial enterprises, and pass the high (A) level.
