How many hours of training should a primary school head teacher attend each academic year?
(Reporter Liu Yu intern Sun Gang) In order to comprehensively promote quality education, further strengthen and improve the ideological and moral construction of minors, and standardize the construction of class teachers in primary and secondary schools, yesterday, the Municipal Education Commission issued the "Implementation Opinions of Tianjin Municipality on Further Strengthening the Work of Class Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools". Nearly 30,000 class teachers in primary and secondary schools in the city will all be certified this year.

The city is the first in the country to carry out the standardization of the construction of class teachers. The Municipal Education Commission further clarified the responsibilities of the head teachers in primary and secondary schools. First of all, we should do a good job in the education and guidance of primary and secondary school students. Secondly, we should do a good job in class management. Third, we should organize class collective activities. Fourthly, we should pay attention to the all-round development of every student. The Municipal Education Commission requires that class teachers should make good use of all kinds of educational resources to perform their duties, not only to coordinate teachers in each class, but also to become a link between schools, families and society. In particular, we should pay attention to keeping in touch with parents and hold parent-teacher conferences every semester to win parents' support for school work. Do a good job of home visits. The class teacher usually visits one-third of the students' homes every academic year and visits each student's parents by telephone, letter and internet. The new headmaster usually visits every student in the first school year.

The city will do a good job in the selection and training of class teachers in primary and secondary schools. According to the requirements, the post of head teacher is an important professional post, which requires high quality and personality. Schools should select outstanding teachers with teacher qualifications, good ideological quality, high professional level, strong dedication and good physical and mental health. Each class should have a head teacher. The head teachers in primary and secondary schools should generally be selected by the school from the classroom teachers, and the employment period should be stipulated by the school. The education bureaus of all districts and counties should incorporate the head teachers into all teacher training plans and establish and improve the on-the-job training system for the head teachers. In the future, the existing class teachers should be trained once every five years.

The "trainee head teacher system" and "head teacher certificate system" have been established in primary and secondary schools in the city. Primary and secondary school teachers as class teachers must obtain the certificate of class teacher issued by the Municipal Education Commission after serving as trainee class teachers and participating in special training.

The head teacher must receive training before and after taking up his post.

(Reporter Liu Yu, an intern in Sun Gang) In order to comprehensively improve the quality and ability of primary and secondary school head teachers, the city has established a post training system for primary and secondary school head teachers since September this year, requiring all new primary and secondary school head teachers to receive 34 hours of special training within one year before taking up their posts, and to train all existing head teachers every five years after taking up their posts.

The Municipal Education Commission stipulates that the head teachers of primary and secondary schools must receive special training organized by the municipal, district and county education administrative departments, and only after passing the examination can they take up their posts. Pre-job training * * * consists of five topics ***34 hours, including relevant education policies and regulations and ideological and moral education for minors (4 hours); The responsibilities of the class teacher and its role in school education (4 class hours); The qualification and quality of the class teacher (4 class hours); Working principles and methods of class teachers (4 class hours); The work skills of class teachers (18 class hours) include understanding and studying students (4 class hours), class management and class collective construction (4 class hours), design and organization of class activities (4 class hours), coordinating educational strength and transforming underachievers (4 class hours) and student evaluation (2 class hours). Only by participating in pre-job special training and passing the examination can you obtain the qualification of class teacher.

The Municipal Education Commission requires that all in-service primary and secondary school class teachers who have obtained the Certificate of Tianjin Primary and Secondary School Class Teachers should participate in pre-job training. Since 2009, every five years is a cycle, and all class teachers should be trained once every cycle. Each class teacher should participate in no less than 50 hours of training every cycle, including 20 hours of school training and 30 hours of training organized by the district and county education administrative departments.
