Train table tennis coaches and referees, accept the entrustment of the Table Tennis and Badminton Management Center of the State Sports General Administration, hold training courses for coaches and referees at different levels, and pass the training, conduct assessment and issue post qualification certificates.

1. Expand foreign exchanges and strengthen international exchanges. With the support and recommendation of China Table Tennis Association, organize various international table tennis players' training and special conferences, and extensively carry out international academic and training exchanges on table tennis. Adapt to the development trend of international table tennis.

2. Cultivate young athletes. Establish children's table tennis clubs, recruit students for the whole country, train young athletes of different ages, and actively transport talents for the country.

3. Establish a table tennis information base, use modern science and technology such as computer multimedia to accumulate technical files and competition information of outstanding athletes at home and abroad, as well as audio, video and materials suitable for table tennis in today's society, and compile special software and various databases related to training.

4. Academic research and scientific research. Organize relevant experts and scholars to study the training, competition and development law of table tennis, hold special academic seminars, strengthen cooperation with scientific research institutes and brother units of the State Sports Commission, and undertake and carry out key projects of major topics.

5. Revise and compile table tennis training textbooks, organize relevant experts and scholars all over the country, and participate in the formulation and compilation of coaches' training teaching plans and textbooks at all levels and at different levels.
