Recently, the practice base of Media Literacy College of Zhejiang Media College officially settled in Zhongshan. This is the first practice base of teachers' media literacy in China, and the special training of media literacy is also the first professional and large-scale special training project for teachers in China. Guided by professional theory and based on practical teaching, this project makes up for the blank of media literacy teacher training in China to some extent and provides a good reference for future generations.
This special training for "media literacy" teachers not only benefited teachers, but also aroused widespread concern in society. Many TV newspapers and periodicals, such as Zhongshan TV Station, Zhongshan Daily and Zhongshan Business Daily, have reported the news of the opening of media literacy continuously, and at the same time, the "Media Literacy" project has also attracted great attention of Zhongshan educators. Liang Yongzheng, vice president of the Party School of Zhongshan Municipal Committee, president of the Municipal Teachers' College and member of the Party School of Zhongshan Municipal Committee, was among them.
At the same time, media literacy education has also been highly valued by the leaders of Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and Municipal Education Bureau. Media literacy special training and teaching is jointly organized by Zhongshan Institute of Continuing Education and Guangdong Quantong Education Co., Ltd.. Not only did Professor Bu Wei, who was the first to introduce media literacy into Chinese mainland and was praised as the "first person in media literacy education", give a special lecture, but also invited Professor Wang Tiande, the executive deputy director of the Media Literacy Institute of Zhejiang Media College with practical experience, and his team to give a special lecture and give a live lecture. In this training, Sun Yat-sen Teachers College has built a comprehensive media literacy curriculum system relying on the professional teachers of Dr. Zhu Peng's studio and the technical strength of the media literacy project team of Guangdong Quantong Education Co., Ltd. The training effect caused great repercussions among the first-phase students, and the first-phase special training for "Media Literacy" teachers ended successfully.
