Introduction of Guangdong Communications Vocational and Technical College: Guangdong Communications Vocational and Technical College (1999) approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a comprehensive higher vocational college headed by the provincial education department, with distinctive industry characteristics and mainly engineering. It is a national backbone vocational college, a national high-quality vocational college and a first-class vocational college in Guangdong Province, and has won the top 50 service contributions of national vocational colleges.
Guangdong Communications Vocational and Technical College was formed by the merger of Guangdong Communications School founded by 1959 and Guangdong Shipping School founded by 1960 with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 1999. In July 2008, with the approval of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, the school was placed under the management of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation.
As of September 2022, the school has three campuses in Guangzhou, namely Tianhe, Huadu and Qingyuan, covering an area of 1 1,000 mu. Secondary college 10, 52 higher vocational enrollment majors, with more than 28,000 full-time students.
