Gannan Normal School is a secondary normal school with a long history, fine tradition and fine school spirit. During the period of 1964, the school once enrolled a senior high school graduate with a one-year schooling. 1September, 1966, the school moved to the state capital for cooperation and changed its name to "Gannan Normal School". After graduating from the 69th Teachers' College, it was closed. During the period of 1969- 1972, the scale of running a school was expanded, Gannan Normal School was changed into Gannan Comprehensive College, and other majors were added. 1972, the name of Gannan Normal School has been restored to this day. After 1972, I applied for a year's math and science class. 1983, the school changed to a four-year system until today. On April 7th, 1999, the state government listed schools and established "Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Teacher Training Center". 1August 22, 999 [Zhou Fazheng (1999) 015] The Notice of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture People's Government on Approving the Opinions of the State Education Commission on the Reform and Development of Gannan Tibetan Secondary Specialized Schools decided to merge the civil teachers' major of the State Tibet Comprehensive College into Gannan Normal School and enroll students that year. Now the school covers an area of 70 mu, with a building area of more than 23,500 square meters, with staff 103 and students 1200.

At present, Gannan Normal School is the only school in Quanzhou that trains qualified primary school teachers for seven counties and one city. Over the years, the school has paid attention to improving the social benefits of running a school, emphasizing scale benefits, focusing on market education, creating conditions to expand the scale of running a school, broadening the design of professional categories, and actively carrying out multi-level and high-level running a school. In addition to retaining the original specialty of general teachers, it has successively set up professional courses such as kindergarten teachers, civil teachers (mainly in Tibet, mainly in Chinese), art education, physical education, English education, music education and computer education, and cooperated with the province.

In teaching, according to the basic spirit of the curriculum plan for ordinary teachers, kindergarten teachers and "3+2" three-year normal schools newly promulgated by the Provincial Department of Education, and in combination with the new requirements of basic education reform, the school has formulated the curriculum for the fourth academic year, and revised the curriculum plan for Tibetan, Chinese, English, arts and physical education 12 sets. In the practice of teaching reform, we have gradually stepped out of "unification" (highlighting the main position of compulsory courses), "two infiltration" (infiltrating moral education and science and technology), "three combination" (combining compulsory courses with elective courses, classroom teaching with extracurricular activities, teaching activities with educational practice) and "four in one" (four in one of compulsory courses, elective courses, extracurricular activities and educational practice), thus forming a compulsory course that embodies subjectivity.

Through continuous exploration in teaching practice, the teaching standards and behavior norms of normal schools have been established, and "target management method, closed management method, five grasping and five promoting methods, hierarchical teaching method, collaborative teaching method, simulated diagnosis method and comprehensive evaluation method" have been tried out, and professional report activities for graduates have been held, and the system of "one certificate and many certificates" has been implemented, which has created good conditions for students to choose jobs.

The school adheres to the school-running concept of facing primary schools and agricultural and pastoral areas, strictly manages teaching, strengthens the construction of teaching staff, activates education and scientific research, and comprehensively starts the quality education project, with the aim of "cultivating teachers' morality, cultivating teachers' style and casting teachers' soul", the theme of "loving their posts and being dedicated", focusing on diligent study and improving education and teaching, and rectifying and optimizing the style of study and educating people. Cultivate students to realize the mode of "self-management, self-service, self-education and self-development". Tomorrow's teachers should start from today and cultivate primary school teachers with creative thinking and innovative ability.

Since its establishment, Gannan Normal University has sent nearly 7,000 qualified primary school teachers and outstanding workers from all walks of life to the society. Most of them have become the backbone of basic education, and many of them have become leading cadres and professional leaders of administrative departments at all levels, which have been widely praised by people from all walks of life.

From 199 1 to 1999, that is, before the establishment of Gannan Teacher Training Center, Gannan Normal School had undertaken all kinds of teacher training tasks and held 2 1 short-term training courses, 1259 person-times. At present, Gannan Normal School has become the training base for qualified primary school teachers in our state, the China-UNICEF project school for strengthening teacher training, the "Putonghua Test Workstation" of Gannan Language Committee and the Gannan Teacher Training Center.
