How to improve the level of music teaching in rural primary schools
My school is a central school, and the school leaders attach great importance to the teaching of small subjects, so I have the honor to become a full-time music teacher. But it is understood that many other villages do not have full-time music teachers. Because of poor conditions and serious shortage of teachers, most rural primary schools can only arrange three main courses: Chinese, Mathematics and English. Even if other courses are arranged, no teacher can be competent, and few teachers can read music and play the piano. If you sing in music class, you will sing pop songs, which are used more by Chinese and math teachers. This is a thought-provoking question. Our life needs music, our education needs music, and our students can't live without music. The importance of art education is beyond doubt. According to my teaching experience and long-term exploration, I summarized several methods.

First, strengthen professional knowledge training.

Faced with the shortage of full-time music teachers in rural primary schools, if only one or two full-time music teachers are assigned, it can only be said that it is a drop in the bucket and cannot solve the fundamental problem. Over time, our students will pay a painful price because they know nothing about music. This time, I was fortunate enough to participate in the online training of summer primary school music teachers, which really benefited a lot. I think it is a good way to train the existing teachers in the most basic music knowledge. Music classes in rural primary schools are basically Chinese, math and English teachers. Many schools also consider assigning music lessons to teachers who are interested in this field and have basic knowledge. This is very practical, and it is more important to train these teachers in basic music skills. If every school leader attaches great importance to the training of teachers in this scarce discipline and strives to improve the quality of teachers, I think it won't be long before many excellent full-time and part-time music teachers emerge in our teaching staff.

Second, attach importance to classroom teaching

Music classroom teaching can not meet the goal of teaching simple songs, but should be carried out in strict accordance with the teaching materials, because it is a relatively scientific and systematic aesthetic education teaching material with pictures and texts, which plays an important role in students' intelligence, interest and knowledge. Of course, in addition, the newly created excellent children's songs, lyric songs and film episodes are all good as long as they are suitable for children's psychology, physiology and primary school classroom, and teachers can choose. We should focus on teaching materials and pay close attention to singing teaching, training and appreciation of music knowledge and skills, with singing and appreciation as the main content; Singing tour teaching and instrumental music teaching are gradually enriched and improved in the future music teaching. In singing teaching, we should focus on training students' basic singing skills, that is, posture, breathing, vocalization, articulation and so on. Combine songs, introduce new lessons, demonstrate singing, briefly discuss, learn lyrics and songs, consolidate the teaching methods of new songs, and cultivate students' hearing and image thinking. Introduce the knowledge of voice change period and voice protection to students properly, so that they will not yell and master the basic skills of singing. Try to accompany the students with electronic organ or accordion in class. School teachers who are not qualified can choose suitable rhythm instruments to beat the rhythm for students, so that students can watch music and lyrics while listening to the rhythm. Instruct students to beat the rhythm by hand or high-five, or make 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 beats with gestures according to the graphic requirements in the textbook. Classes take various forms, such as group and individual, group and group fighting for small red flags (or small red flowers), boys and girls, performing and commenting on stage, which enhances the interest of classes and enables students to learn songs unconsciously. After the introduction of the new lesson, let the students listen to songs and music first. If we take this way: the teacher plays the scale 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 i in C major by scraping on the piano, then the students will rest at the table. At this time, let the students listen to the music carefully twice. After listening, scrape i 7 6 5 4 3 2 1, and students will immediately return to the state of listening, which is more impressive than directly letting students listen to music.

Third, the training of music knowledge and basic skills should not be underestimated.

Cultivate students' listening and singing knowledge and skills, so that they have the ability to express music. Therefore, in music teaching, visual teaching is necessary, which can improve students' interest and help students understand and remember relevant music knowledge. Commonly used intuitive teaching includes: ① cards; (2) wall charts (portraits of musicians, the mouth shape of vowels when singing, etc. ); ③ Using audio-visual media such as tape recorder, video recorder, vcd and simple multimedia for teaching can help students directly perceive and improve their perceptual knowledge. In addition, according to the conditions and needs, more visual teaching AIDS (such as figures, animal headdresses, etc.) can be made in teaching to stimulate students' interest. The part of music theory can also be carried out by combining explanation with practice, so that students can master and consolidate it.

Fourth, grasp the content of appreciation teaching.

Many teachers think this content is insignificant, but it is also an important part of music teaching. Its basic organizational forms can be divided into in-class appreciation and extracurricular appreciation. The ways to appreciate in class are: the teacher sings, plays or listens to recordings and records, or watches videos. Teachers can create conditions for students to imitate directly by singing or playing with expressions, or improvise some dance movements, so that teachers and students can perform together, improve students' interest and enthusiasm in appreciation, and deepen their feelings and understanding of songs and music. Using records or audio or video recordings to enjoy music is an important means to broaden students' musical horizons. Therefore, teachers should make full use of audio-visual teaching, so that students can often enjoy music.

Fifth, carry out rich extracurricular activities.

It is said that many developed countries now take extracurricular activities as regular courses and record them in their workload, which is called the indispensable cradle for schools to train qualified talents. Many rural primary schools are still the weak link of extracurricular activities. It needs the hard work of our music teachers and the close cooperation of classroom teaching, so that music teaching can become a whole and aesthetic education will not become an empty talk.

Xian Xinghai, a great musician, said: Music is a clear spring of life; Music is a melting pot for cultivating temperament. French writer Hugo once pointed out that there are three keys to open the treasure house of human wisdom, one is mathematics, the other is letters, and the other is notes. Comrade He Lvting, an older musician, said: Music is an important means to cultivate people's noble moral quality, thoughts and feelings.
