The school mainly undertakes various education and training tasks such as training of bureau-level leading cadres in the tax system, training of young and middle-aged reserve cadres, training of department-level leading cadres, international tax training, training of youth business backbones, training of ethnic minority cadres and training of trainers. Over the past 20 years, various training courses at all levels have been held1.8000, and more than/.2000 tax civil servants have been trained, including nearly1.3000 department-level cadres and1.3000 department-level cadres. The trainees cover 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and some countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific region. After more than 20 years' practical exploration of tax cadres' education and training, and in recent years' efforts to improve the training ability and quality, the school has successfully created more than 20 mature, distinctive and influential training programs in the system, with an annual training capacity of 200,000 person-times.
