There are many drying methods of plant materials, and the appropriate drying method should be selected according to the different characteristics of different plant materials.
1. When the processing tool presses the plane for embossing, it is often necessary to carry out some special treatments on the flower material, such as decomposition. Treatment requires the following tools: tweezers, scissors, knife and sandpaper.
2. Water-absorbing material is a material used to absorb water from plant materials during drying. Include absorbent paper, silica gel, etc.
3. Jiaqing tool is a tool for making plane embossing, including contents, sample rack and embossing device.

4. Heating equipment Equipment for humidifying plant materials, including electric heating equipment, oven, microwave oven, flower dryer, etc.
5. Containers are used for packing 1: dried flower containers, commonly used plastic containers with lids, porcelain or glass containers.
6. Sealing materials Materials used to seal containers when making forced dried flowers, such as adhesive tape and vaseline.
Second, the common methods of drying
(1) Natural drying is the most primitive and simple drying method, and it is a method to remove water from plant materials by using natural air circulation. The plant materials dried by this method are mostly flower materials with high cellulose content, low water content, small flower pattern and short stem. Although naturally dry

Water stress often causes shrinkage of plant materials, but the shape of such plant materials will not be greatly affected. Plant materials suitable for natural drying are hard gl materials, such as cycads and bones. Panicle in Cambodia, such as wheat, Miscanthus, reed, green bristlegrass, etc. Small flower materials, such as Cao Xia, Buxue Dan, Bupleurum, etc. There are also factory-day red, grass chrysanthemum, cattail, fruit English, pine cone and so on: generally speaking, there are more wild plants cultivated.
This method is more suitable for drying materials, especially tropical grassland plants.
Commonly used natural drying methods are as follows
1. Hanging drying method is suitable for1; Plant material V has soft dry branches and similar flowers, such as rose, amaranth, grass chrysanthemum, cockscomb flower, deep wave called' Limonium', sunflower and so on. The operation flow of hanging drying method is as follows: bundle the sorted plant materials 1-4 into small bundles and hang them down in F: rain-proof, light-proof, dry and ventilated places. After a while, the plant materials can be dried. It is required that plant materials should be hung naturally, and each bundle of plant materials should not be too much. When hanging, there should be proper spacing between each bundle of plants, as shown in figure 1-9.

2. Pingqi: The drying method is suitable for precious materials with soft stems and heavy panicles, such as sorghum, ear of grain, ear of rice, bean English, pine cone and moss. It is required to lay the flowers flat and let the ears unfold naturally.
3. Vertical drying method is suitable for plant materials with hard or too soft branches and many flower heads. It is also suitable when drooping effect is needed.
