Before operating a CNC machine tool, we must first understand the instructions of the manufacturer of the CNC machine tool, so as to operate the machine tool well, give full play to its maximum benefit and efficiency, and guide teachers and students to be closer to production practice. In the numerical control lathe teaching competition, many contestants have to interrupt the automatic execution because of the difference of machine tool software, such as the program can't be * * *, or the input is wrong, or the program is wrong, or for other reasons. After modifying the program, they had to re-execute the program, wasting a lot of time, which led to the failure to complete the entries on time and lost the chance to win the championship. Players who are familiar with the "breakpoint search" function also gain time. What's more, it's a pity that mistakes occurred when using G54 function, which led to knife collision and buried hidden dangers. Therefore, these entries cannot be processed. 1. Application of breakpoint search after program reset Taking the CNC lathe of Siemens 802S system as an example, there is a function of "breakpoint search", which can continue to execute the reset execution program at the breakpoint without restarting the execution of the program, thus saving the execution of the already executed program segment and improving the efficiency. If the player is not clear about this function, once it is reset in the execution program, the entries will not be completed during the running of the game and the chance of winning the championship will be lost. The specific usage of this function is as follows: (1) In the automatic execution state, if the execution of the program needs to be interrupted for various reasons, we only need to press the reset button, and the menu will appear as shown in Figure-1, Figure-

(2) Enter the program window, modify the program to be changed, and close the program window. (3) Return to the automatic machining window, press the soft key under Search to open the search window, and the picture shown in Figure -2 will appear. (4) Press "breakpoint search", and a "load breakpoint" prompt will appear to reach the interrupted program segment. (5) After the above prompt appears, press "Start B Search" to start the breakpoint search and return the coordinates to the breakpoint. (6) When prompted, press the NC start key to continue automatic machining. After completing this series of operations, the CNC lathe will start executing the program from the interrupted program section. Instead of starting from the first step of the program. Operation skills of establishing coordinate system: the establishment of programming coordinate system and the rational application of G54 should first establish programming coordinate system, that is, workpiece coordinate system, which is an X-Z rectangular coordinate system established with a point on the workpiece as the coordinate origin. G54 is not suitable to offset the cutter, so that the mechanical origin coincides with the programmed origin. Because: (1) The manufacturer of CNC lathe has considered this point, and adapted the tool compensation window according to the characteristics of CNC lathe to adapt it to the compensation characteristics of lathe. As long as the cutting method is tested, the compensation data of X-Z can be obtained and automatically "calculated" in the storage system. Try to cut the required tool in manual mode. After the trial cutting, as long as the diameter of the workpiece is input in the tool setting window, the system will automatically calculate the tool offset. No manual input is required after calculation. (2) Using G54 needs to calculate and input compensation data, which is troublesome to use. (3) The key to using G54 is to clear all the tool compensation data, otherwise it will hit the tool and even cause an accident. If all the tool compensation data are not cleared, the coordinate values needed by G54 are the calculated data of tool centering and tool compensation data vector, which can be used as the input value of G54. Many players just don't understand the precautions when using G54, which leads to the collision of the machine tool and the failure to complete the entry. (4)G54 should be suitable for: the same blank material can clamp and process multiple parts or a workpiece to realize multiple identical tool paths.
