China HVAC Society, founded in 1978, is the earliest academic group in HVAC field in China and the most influential academic organization in HVAC field in China. The Institute has 8 1 directors, and is composed of directors of HVAC professional committees in all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and the most authoritative experts and scholars in the HVAC industry. The Society consists of heating committee, air conditioning committee, heat pump committee, ventilation committee, purification committee and computer simulation committee. The secretariat is located in the Institute of Building Environment and Energy Conservation, China Institute of Building Science.

The main work of China HVAC Society is to organize experts, professional technicians and relevant government functional departments to carry out various forms of academic exchange activities around the hot and difficult points of industrial technology development; Accept the project evaluation, achievement appraisal, compilation of scientific and technological documents and editing of technical standards entrusted by the government or relevant departments, and carry out standards and technical training; Organize HVAC design competition and architectural engineering evaluation; The "National HVAC Academic Annual Meeting" sponsored by it has become the largest and most influential industry event in the industry.

China HVAC Society keeps close contact with American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, European Society of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Nordic Federation of HVAC Engineers, Japanese Society of Air Conditioning and Health Workers and other international academic organizations, and conducts international academic exchange activities.
