Age limit for examination of special operations personnel
According to the Regulations on Safety Training of Production and Business Units (Order No.3 of the State Administration of Work Safety) and the Regulations on the Management of Safety Technology Training and Assessment of Special Operators (Order No.30 of the State Administration of Work Safety), you must be at least 18 years old to take the exam. Article 4 reads as follows:

Special operators must be at least 18 years old.

Special operations personnel must be in good health after examination, and there are no diseases and physical defects that prevent them from engaging in the operation of the corresponding type of work.

Safety technical knowledge

Special operations personnel must have a junior high school education or above, have the safety technical knowledge of the corresponding type of work, participate in the safety technical theory and practical operation assessment stipulated by the state, and obtain the special operation certificate after passing the examination.

Other conditions

Special operations personnel must meet other conditions required by the operation characteristics of the corresponding type of work.
