Data analysis of optometry sheet

References. DATA is the abbreviation of reference data, which means reference data (reference data given by computer automatic optometry)

KRT。 DATA is the abbreviation of corneal curvature meter data, which means corneal curvature (measured by corneal curvature meter).

VD: 12.0 refers to the distance between the mirror eye and the inspection distance.

CYL: Mixed refers to mixed astigmatism.

R stands for right eye. Latin is o.d.

L stands for left eye. Latin is o.s.

+means hyperopia.

-It means myopia.

DS stands for spherical mirror (myopia and hyperopia)

DC stands for cylindrical mirror (astigmatism)

A represents the axial position (astigmatism) of the cylindrical lens.

SE refers to the average value of several optometrists (unreliable data automatically calculated by computer can not be used as reference for optometrists, but should be based on optometrists' handwriting).

PD refers to the pupil distance, that is, the distance between the pupil centers of both eyes when the eyes are facing forward.

Example:

r-3.00 ds- 1.75 DC×90→ 1.0

The right eye myopia is 300 degrees with myopic astigmatism 175 degrees, and the axial position of astigmatism is 90 degrees, which is regular astigmatism, and the corrected vision is 1.0.

Then the landlord's right eye is 500 degrees myopia with 25 degrees myopia astigmatism, and the astigmatism axis is 2 degrees. Considering the compensation of spherical glasses, you can wear 5 12 degree myopia glasses.

525-degree myopia with 25-degree myopia astigmatism in the left eye, with an axial position of 92 degrees. After compensation, it is a 537 degree myopia film.

And actual insertion optometry:

Myopia of the right eye is 525 degrees, corrected vision 1.0.

500-degree myopia in the left eye, corrected vision 1.0.

Pupil distance =63

It is generally believed that astigmatism below 100 degree will not have obvious influence on normal life, work and study and can be ignored. And mild astigmatism can be completely compensated by spherical lens. Therefore, it is not recommended to wear glasses with general mild astigmatism, because the axial position of astigmatism is not accurate, which will cause astigmatism to increase.

Generally speaking, the glasses should be based on the actual optometry results, and it is necessary to ensure that the vision is basically clear after trying on and there are no other adverse reactions.

The increase of myopia has little to do with astigmatism.

Correct use of glasses

Myopia glasses can correct myopia. The principle is that the concave lens can disperse the parallel light before it enters the eye, so as to adjust the focus of the light refracted by the refractive medium in the eye and make it fall on the retina to form a clear object image, thus achieving the purpose of seeing clearly.

However, most myopia patients have normal myopia vision, that is, when looking at near objects, the focus falls on the retina. If you wear glasses when you look close, it will inevitably cause the focus of the object that originally fell on the retina to be forcibly pushed to the retina to form hyperopia. At this time, in order to see clearly, the eyes must be adjusted in the opposite direction, and the focus will be pulled back to the retina, which will increase the burden on the eyeball and easily form visual fatigue. After a period of time, eye muscles are in a state of tension for a long time. The higher the degree of glasses, the greater the adjustment burden at close range!

Therefore, from the perspective of vision protection and recovery, the use of glasses should be strictly controlled. Only when we can't see clearly from a distance and need to see clearly in situ can we use glasses properly, but when we look closely, we don't need glasses if we can see clearly!

I used to think that myopia must wear glasses, otherwise it will aggravate visual fatigue and myopia. Actually, there was a big misunderstanding. Studies have shown that when the human eye naturally looks at the distance, the eye muscles are in a state of adjustment and relaxation, and fatigue is not easy to occur; On the contrary, in myopia, the eye muscles are in a state of high tension. If it is not effectively adjusted and relieved for a long time, it will produce visual fatigue and form and aggravate myopia.

When you find that your child is nearsighted, don't blindly rush to give your child glasses. You must go through a careful and accurate mydriatic optometry to confirm your child's refractive state, and then actively seek treatment. In fact, more than 80% of acquired accommodative myopia can be recovered.

Glasses are a kind of tool. Myopia patients really need to see far. They can use them properly when they can't see clearly, but in general, they don't wear them if they can. Only in this way can our innate ability-vision be better protected and developed. Otherwise, the vision will drop sharply, and the degree will increase by 100-200 degrees almost every year!

Why do many myopia patients who don't wear glasses have an increasing degree year by year?

1. The bad eye habits that caused myopia before were not found and corrected in time. The key is the lack of awareness of prevention. Many people take myopia for granted and never think about how to prevent it.

Due to the negligence of parents, many children can't find and correct their myopia in time, which leads to bad habits such as strabismus, frowning and squinting. When they can't see clearly on the blackboard. Once these habits appear, it will cause serious visual tension and continuous decline in vision.

3. The visual environment has not been improved; Including eye hygiene, living environment and many other aspects; Lack of far-sighted exercise, at the same time, during the study period, I used my eyes at close range for more than 6 hours every day, and failed to rest and adjust in time.

4. The diet structure failed to be adjusted in time; Most nearsighted children will have a partial eclipse, but most parents don't really pay attention to this problem, how to eat before myopia and how to eat after myopia.

5. Above, points 1 and 2 are direct causes, and points 3 and 4 are long-term effects.

With glasses, the spherical mirror is cheaper, but the peripheral vision will be deformed, which may affect the visual effect; Aspherical mirror is more expensive, but its texture is lighter and thinner, and the field of vision will not be deformed after wearing it. The higher the refractive index, the thinner and lighter the lens.
