Shantou Technician College is a national key technical college approved by Guangdong Provincial People's Government to train senior technicians and technicians.

Founded in 1963, the college is the earliest full-time public technical college in eastern Guangdong.

20 19 12, Shantou Vocational and Technical School of Foreign Languages and Foreign Trade and Shantou Vocational and Technical School of Textile and Clothing were merged into our college, and their school-running strength was further improved.
