First, the main features and innovations of this course.
1. Advanced teaching content.
The content of curriculum education covers two methods of scientific research-quantitative research and qualitative research, and incorporates the idea of evidence-based nursing. With the support of scientific research practice, the teaching content is developing continuously, and it is in the forefront of similar schools in China.
2. Innovation of teaching methods.
The course adopts classroom teaching, classroom discussion, online learning, online discussion, online mutual evaluation, scientific research practice and other teaching methods. For clinical nurses, the online interactive teaching method was first tried, and the teaching effect was satisfactory and the students' evaluation was high.
3. Pay attention to practical ability.
Through classroom discussion, writing and reporting of homework and scientific research plan, students' scientific research practice ability is improved and their ability to solve clinical problems with scientific research thinking is cultivated.
Second, the position of this course in similar courses at home and abroad.
As one of the earliest institutions offering this course to nursing undergraduates, our school has accumulated rich experience in the construction of teaching materials. Editor-in-chief of the national planning textbook "Nursing Research" for undergraduate students of general higher education in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan and the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan, which contributed to the opening of this course in nursing colleges across the country. The depth, breadth and height of the course teaching have been widely praised by experts from our school and other schools, and the course has been studied by more than ten advanced teachers from all over the country.
Based on this course, the national continuing education and training project "nursing scientific research innovation and thesis writing" has been held for four consecutive periods, attracting more than 400 teachers and students to continue their studies. The course group has conducted scientific research lectures and training for affiliated hospitals for many times to improve the overall scientific research literacy of nursing staff.
Thirdly, there are still some shortcomings in this course.
Online learning platform needs to be improved. Elearning platform of Fudan University cannot realize large video uploading and interactive video learning. In the future, we will explore the use of the mooc learning platform of Fudan University. Insufficient teaching funds affect the quantity and quality of video shooting in micro-courses, and online learning resources need to be further developed.
