Teacher qualification certificate is a license for teachers to engage in the education industry. In China, the graduates of normal universities must pass the examinations of pedagogy and educational psychology offered by the school in the final exam of the semester, and achieve Grade B or above (Grade A for Chinese major) in the Putonghua exam organized by the whole province, before they can receive the teacher qualification certificate when they graduate. Non-teachers and other social workers need to take a series of exams such as social certification exams before they can apply for teacher qualification certificates.

Certificate classification

Teacher qualification point (top-down compatibility):

(1) Kindergarten teacher qualification;

(2) Primary school teacher qualification;

(three) the qualifications of teachers in junior middle schools and the qualifications of teachers in cultural courses and professional courses in junior vocational schools (hereinafter referred to as the qualifications of teachers in junior middle schools);

(4) Senior middle school teacher qualification;

(five) the qualifications of teachers in secondary specialized schools, technical schools, vocational high schools and professional courses (hereinafter referred to as the qualifications of teachers in secondary vocational schools);

(six) the qualifications of practice instructors in secondary specialized schools, technical schools and vocational high schools (hereinafter referred to as the qualifications of practice instructors in secondary vocational schools);

(7) Qualifications of teachers in institutions of higher learning.

The qualifications of adult/university education teachers shall be classified according to the level of adult education and the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
