How long does the training of engineering divers take?
Engineering diver training takes half a year, that is, 200 days.

Engineering divers, also known as "water ghosts", are extremely dangerous in this industry, including gas explosion, site power failure, drilling collapse and poor equipment in the early stage, which often leads to many accidents.

When they are working, the protective tools are very simple, and most of them only have masks and protective armor. The masks they wear can provide oxygen and walkie-talkies, but sometimes the piles are deep and the water pressure is very high, so they can only work below for more than ten minutes.

Although they get a good salary every time they finish their work, the money is not distributed according to the difficulty. After all, this job is still very dangerous. Even successful people are prone to diving sickness or irreversible damage to the heart and lungs.

The role of engineering diver:

Engineering diving mainly provides services for professional underwater rescue, emergency rescue and salvage. Different from other diving activities, engineering diving has higher requirements for diving and underwater operation technology, skills and risk control ability, and has strict working rules and standards.

Divers also need to pass various tests such as oxygen allergy, eardrum induction and adjustment and balance of internal and external pressures, as well as physical fitness, skills and psychology.
