Emergency Management University, referred to as "Ying Da", is located in Yanjiao Town, sanhe city, Langfang City, Hebei Province, across the river from the Beijing City Sub-center. It is a national key university directly under the Emergency Management Department of People's Republic of China (PRC), and Hebei Province participates in the construction.

The emergency management university 202 1 started, and was established by the emergency management department according to the procedures and standards. Based on emergency management, facing public safety and serving the economy and society, it has built three highlands of national emergency management personnel training, scientific and technological innovation, education and training, two centers of emergency management culture and international exchange, and a new type of high-end think tank, and built a domestic first-class, internationally renowned, multi-disciplinary application-oriented university with its own characteristics.

It belongs to the same system as the Fire and Rescue College, but it belongs to a comprehensive university.
