Zhejiang university city college is a full-time public undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the Hangzhou Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor was zhejiang university city college, which was founded in 1999. Organize and provide various trainings for cadres.

The school is located in Hangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city and scenic resort in China, adjacent to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, with beautiful natural environment and advanced school facilities. The campus covers an area of 1 1,000 mu and the school building area is 5 1 1,000 square meters. At present, there are 9 professional colleges and 1 Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run schools (colleges), and 37 undergraduate majors cover eight disciplines, including literature, economics, management, law, engineering, science, medicine and art. At present, there are more than 600 full-time undergraduates1/kloc-0, and 2 graduate students jointly trained with Zhejiang University. A team of teachers with both ability and political integrity, matching teacher-student ratio, reasonable full-time and part-time ratio and optimized academic structure has been established. Nearly 50% of full-time teachers have senior technical positions. It has a number of national and provincial outstanding teachers, such as winners of the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars, national candidates for the "100 Million Talents Project", young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions from the country, outstanding talents from the Ministry of Education in the new century, experts approved by the State Council to enjoy special government allowances, national model teachers, and famous teachers from Zhejiang Province.
