Shanghai Institute of Civil Aviation is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, put on record by the Ministry of Education and headed by the Civil Aviation Administration of China. It is one of the four universities directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and was selected as the civil aviation on-the-job training base.
It is the first institution in Shanghai with the qualifications of civil aircraft maintenance training (CCAR- 147 college) and civil aircraft maintenance personnel license examination (CCAR-66 test center), and it is also a training institution authorized by China Air Transport Association and International Air Transport Association.
Shanghai Civil Aviation Vocational and Technical College originated from the technical school of Shanghai Civil Aviation Administration established on March 7th, 1980 on the basis of the teaching team of Shanghai Civil Aviation Administration and the technical school of Civil Aviation 102 Factory. 1985, approved by Shanghai, Shanghai Civil Aviation Secondary Vocational School was established; 20 12 In May, the school was upgraded to a junior college and renamed as "Shanghai Civil Aviation Vocational and Technical College".
