Grasping the training of party branch secretaries is an important task in the year of grass-roots organization construction. In order to further improve the ideological and political quality and working ability of Party branch secretaries, continuously enhance the creativity, cohesion and combat effectiveness of grass-roots party organizations in colleges and universities, and solidly promote the pioneering and excellent activities of grass-roots party organizations, the Department of Civil Engineering has carried out systematic rotation training for Party branch secretaries with the theme of "strengthening organizations, increasing vitality, strengthening the construction of grass-roots organizations and doing a good job as Party branch secretaries", and achieved certain results.

In accordance with the spirit of the Notice of the Central Organization Department on Carrying out Rotation Training for Grassroots Party Organization Secretaries and other documents, as well as the relevant arrangements of the provinces, municipalities and our school to carry out grassroots organization construction activities, the Party Committee of the Department of Civil Engineering carefully discussed and planned, systematically trained the Party branch secretaries of the Department, formulated a detailed and feasible training plan, and distributed it to all Party branches of the Department in the form of documents.

Highlight the training theme and innovate the training mode

The rotation training of Party branch secretaries focuses on innovating the grass-roots Party building work and promoting the construction of grass-roots organizations, adheres to the integration of theory with practice, highlights the communication between teachers and students' party branches, builds a good mechanism for the interconnection of teachers and students' party branches and keeps party member's advanced nature forever, laying a solid foundation for enhancing the cohesion and combat effectiveness of grass-roots party organizations. Focusing on the development situation faced by the grass-roots Party branch work in colleges and universities, the development of schools and departments, the work practice of Party branch secretaries and Socialism with Chinese characteristics's theoretical system, the Party Committee of the Department of Civil Engineering has systematically trained all the teachers and students of the Department of Civil Engineering in the form of theoretical counseling, experience exchange, video teaching, practice visits and writing papers. More than 50 party branch secretaries of this department participated in the training, and the effect was good.

The training is divided into three stages: the first stage, in September, the task of special training, video lectures and practical visits for party branch secretaries will be fully implemented; The second stage is to carry out special training on studying and implementing the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress. In the third stage, a new year's summary meeting was held in June 5438+February to comprehensively summarize the achievements and shortcomings of party building work in the department over the past year and discuss the experience of party building work.
