Recently, the General Office of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued the Notice on Establishing the Tenth Batch of National Continuing Education Bases for Professional and Technical Personnel (No.87 [2020] issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security), and 20 units including China Renmin University were approved as national continuing education bases for professional and technical personnel. Northwest Normal University, as the only university in this batch of Gansu, was selected as the tenth batch of national continuing education bases for professional and technical personnel, which achieved a new breakthrough in the national continuing education base of the school. The national continuing education base for professional and technical personnel is a service platform for in-depth implementation of the knowledge renewal project for professional and technical personnel and speeding up the training of high-level, urgently needed and key professional and technical personnel in key areas of economic and social development. The central government gives a one-time special subsidy of about 3 million yuan to each base. In recent years, Northwest Normal University has attached great importance to the declaration of the national continuing education base for professional and technical personnel.
