What do you need to prepare for the performing arts exam and how to prepare?
There is no small matter in the art test, and the details determine success or failure. Nowadays, the quality of art examination is getting higher and higher, which is very different from the previous art examination model. Before, you just need to prepare your own things. Now, this is not the case. You should not only prepare your own content, but also prepare impromptu content.

Today, let's talk about our own content, what we need to prepare for each item, and how to prepare to stand out.

0 1. Vocal preparation

The basic requirement for vocal music preparation is that there is a song in the brochure, and the singing method is not limited.

I suggest you prepare at least two songs with different styles. Bel canto, pop, nationality and pop can all be left out, but don't choose rap.

Song suggestion: The tune is catchy (such as: the most beautiful sun), the song should be correct in conception, and the most brilliant part must be selected (such as: Jiu-Er, dreaming of a pure heart). Some schools will also test vocal music in the second interview. Be sure to prepare at least two songs.

02. Physical preparation

Body preparation, whether there is a foundation or not, must design a body with a strong sense of story, and the expression must not always be a single dry smile.

If you don't know the shape at all, you can find a prop that runs through it to match your body display and performance, and the focus is not on technology.

In the physical examination, the first thing is to look at coordination, the second is to look at the basic soft opening, and the most important thing is to look at the role and see how you interpret the role to be expressed in the dance.

03. Line preparation

(1) Poetry

Personally, I suggest looking for modern poetry. First of all, you can understand it yourself. Poetry itself is a genre with few words and rich connotations. So don't choose something too complicated and abstruse, otherwise you won't be able to interpret it, or you will be in trouble if there is ambiguity, such as "The Silence of Banzagulubaima".

Banzagurubama's Silence

Author: Tahiram Dodo

Whether you saw me or not, I was there, neither sad nor happy.

If you miss me or don't, that feeling is there, whether you come or not.

You love me, or you don't love me, love is there, neither increasing nor decreasing.

With or without me, my hand is in your hand,

Don't give up,

Come to my arms or let me live in your heart,

Silence, love, silence, happiness.

The inspiration for this song comes from a very famous sentence by Master Lotus Peanut:

I have never abandoned people who believe in me, even those who don't. Although they can't see me, my children will always be guarded by my compassion.

This poem expresses the guru's endless care for his disciples, and has nothing to do with love and romance.

(2) Prose

Prose is best to choose stories with characters, and simple dialogues between 2-3 characters are best. Personally, I don't recommend choosing scenery, such as winter in Jinan and moonlight in the lotus pond. You can find a story to adapt.

(3) Novel fragments

Novel fragments are often more noticeable because of the development of the plot, but we are not advised to choose blindly, because novels are difficult to broadcast, such as the fragments broadcast by teacher Wang Gang in Harbin at night.

(4) Monologue

The monologue is good, but it is also difficult. Monologue is something I didn't come into contact with until the third and second year of college, which contains many contents, such as the feelings of characters, the feelings of the times, and even the reflections of different countries in different periods.

Therefore, in the choice of monologues, try to find the age and characters that you can handle and understand. It is suggested to look for it from modern dramas, but it must not be avant-garde.

04. Preparation for performance

Performance preparation, what to practice in art test performance, is actually three points, one is the sense of life, the other is the performance ability, and the third is the personality.

Then there is priority. If you can't practice anything else, just practice your movements. As long as you can act, your performance in the art test is basically 70% successful. If you want to have a sense of character again, you will basically succeed.

05. Talent preparation

Talent preparation, talent preparation is not actually inspected by every school. The most important thing is to know whether the candidate has other talents. Usually, this part mainly shows instrumental music, but it can also take other forms, such as magic, folk art, handicrafts and so on.

06. Understand the admissions brochure

It is very important for candidates to learn to understand the admissions brochure. In the enrollment brochure, provinces, admission requirements, professional requirements, application time, etc. It's all written in great detail Only by reading the enrollment brochure can we arrange the exam.

Ok, the above six points are what you need to prepare before you take the acting major. Don't think improvisation is enough. You need to practice repeatedly in a limited time until you are proficient ~
