It is clearly stipulated in China Nutrition Improvement Action Plan that the promotion of nutrition and health products in the future should be undertaken by nutrition hygienists, not salesmen. According to statistics, at present, the number of nutrition and health professionals in China is less than 10000, which is far from that in developed countries, and is incompatible with China's social development and people's living standards. According to experts' prediction, nutrition and health care professionals will be one of the hottest occupations in China in the new century. In order to implement the spirit of the National Outline of Health Education and Health Promotion for All, china health care association has successfully launched the professional qualification training and evaluation project for nutrition and health professionals according to international practices, China's national conditions and the actual situation of the industry. In order to further popularize the knowledge of nutrition and health care and train more nutrition and health care professionals for the society, Beijing will continue to offer 13 training courses for nutrition and health care teachers:
1. Enrollment targets and application conditions: employees in hospitals, schools, institutions, senior health consultants, hotels, restaurants, medical care, food and health products production and sales, and other people who have engaged in or intend to engage in nutrition and health care occupations. Admissions majors are divided into three levels: primary, intermediate and advanced. Primary requirements for technical secondary school education or engaged in nutrition and health care work 1 year or above; Intermediate level requires college degree or above or engaged in nutrition and health care for more than 3 years; Senior requires bachelor degree or above or engaged in nutrition and health care for more than 5 years (outstanding contributions in medicine, nutrition, health care and other fields). The academic requirements can be appropriately relaxed when applying for the grade). Students of different levels need to take the qualification examination of nutrition and health care professionals at the corresponding level.
