Sichuan Fire School, located in yongningzhen, Wenjiang District, Chengdu, is one of the only two schools in China to train fire professionals for the society. Chengdu Command School, the former training base of Sichuan Fire Corps, was established in 1986. It not only recruits technical secondary school students majoring in fire management and fire fighting command for the Fire Corps, but also trains cadres and soldiers in the whole province. 1994 Sichuan Fire School was established on the basis of Chengdu Fire Branch of Armed Police Command School with the approval of the Provincial Education Commission, and began to recruit and train fire management talents with secondary school education for enterprises and institutions. In 2000, it began to recruit new graduates from junior and senior high schools for the society.
