Shapingba No.8 Middle School has a library but no swimming pool. As of 20 14 and 12, the headquarters of Chongqing No.8 Middle School covers an area of more than 60 mu, and the campus of University Town covers an area of more than 90 mu. The school has a library, plastic track and field, lawn football field, outdoor playground, infirmary and other teaching facilities. Chongqing No.8 Middle School, formerly known as Shu Ren Middle School or Chongqing No.8 Middle School, was founded in 1938. It is the first batch of municipal key demonstration middle schools in Chongqing, recommended by the principals of Peking University and Tsinghua.
