PLA Naval Engineering University is a multi-disciplinary, multi-level, engineering and management, technology and command combined naval institutions of higher learning. It is a well-known military engineering university of the whole army and an important teaching and research base.

After more than 60 years' development, the school insists on both undergraduate and postgraduate education and the combination of academic education and on-the-job training, forming a comprehensive discipline environment with industry as the main body and the coordinated development of eight disciplines: engineering, management, military science, literature, science, philosophy, economics and education.

School characteristics

In the long-term teaching practice, the school has formed an excellent school spirit of "strictness, realism, hard work and innovation", and has trained nearly/kloc-0.0 million high-quality military talents for the navy, of which nearly 100 have grown into American generals known as the "cradle of naval officers" and trained foreign military talents for more than 40 countries in four continents: Asia, Africa, Oceania and Latin America.

More than 100 undergraduates have won the first prize and the first prize in national competitions such as mathematical modeling, electronic design, mechanical innovation design and English competition, especially in the national college students' mechanical innovation design competition, and the number of first prizes has ranked first in the country for three consecutive years.
