When I was young, there were few manhole covers in our remote town. When I grew up and went to school, I saw many manhole covers on the city streets outside. Every time I go out shopping, I will choose the manhole cover to step on. It was not until later that my friend told me that it was unlucky to step on the manhole cover. There is a stench under the manhole cover. Everyone who lives in the city knows that urban sewage is discharged through sewers, which are full of filthy things. No sewer pipe in any city can be perfect. The sewer pipe is damaged, which is easy to cause pollution. Especially when it rains, the rain will wash away the dirty things around the street shops in the surrounding hotels and leave all the dirty things in the sewers. Moreover, in our life, there will be many bloody incidents caused by car accidents. At that time, the ground was washed with water, so that dirty blood flowed into the sewer. Many places reported in life are also sewers. People say it's unlucky to see blood. Stepping on the manhole cover is undoubtedly stepping on something unclean, which is easy to get bad luck. Nowadays, when many people get married, their families will take pains to put red paper on the manhole cover to prevent the couple from being contaminated with unlucky things.
