How to Cultivate Banking Talents
Talent is the most important resource of commercial banks and the cornerstone of accelerating transformation and development and realizing the vision of Agricultural Bank of China. Facing the diversified needs of customers, the traditional business model of commercial banks has been greatly challenged. How to train bank talents?

1, pay attention to YEATION students. According to the requirements of head office linkage and group combination, the trainees were selected from eight investment banking departments, including investment banking department, asset management, financial market, major customers, corporate business, credit management, credit approval and internal control, four subsidiaries of Agricultural Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China Leasing, Agricultural Bank of China Investment, Agricultural Bank of China Life Insurance and investment banking lines of 20 branches. The participants in the training are all cadres at or above the department level, young and familiar.

2. Pay attention to the selection of training content. The training content highlights problem orientation and demand orientation. In view of the problems and shortcomings in the development of investment banking business, the course design is carried out around the market rules and practice of international investment banking, combined with the current market situation, business trends and Hong Kong market conditions. The training course covers the main business areas of investment banks, including the source and composition of investment banking income of commercial banks, syndicated financing, financial consultancy, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and overseas bond issuance.

3. Pay attention to innovative training methods. The training adopts the organizational model of "classroom teaching+case analysis+institutional research+topic research", invites investment banking experts from financial institutions such as Citibank, Credit Suisse Oriental Bank and State Street Bank to give lectures, arranges field visits from institutions such as Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Monetary Authority, conducts business exchanges with peer investment banks such as Standard Chartered Bank, and discusses the operation practice of overseas PE investment funds, asset securitization business and M&A business, which is highly practical.

4. Pay attention to training process management. During the training period, all the students strictly demand themselves to take part in the study seriously, so that there is no shortage of "three noes" in one class, no shortage of research once and no shortage of communication once. Each training class establishes a class committee, which is responsible for the discipline supervision, teaching management and activity organization of the class. Students are divided into four groups, and the duty group is responsible for daily teaching activities. They insist on recording training logs every day, summing up experience, refining the highlights of the course, and asking questions and thinking deeply in every class. Before the end of the training, all the students made topic defense and study presentation.

5. Pay attention to strengthening the linkage between banks and enterprises. This training is also a site linkage of the Group's comprehensive cooperation with branches, giving full play to the advantages of ABC's investment banking business. The Investment Banking Department led the heads of investment banking departments of 20 branches to have an exchange discussion with ABC International, and discussed the linkage between branches, and made specific arrangements for further strengthening the promotion of ABC International projects.

6. Focus on promoting the transformation of results. Four topics are selected for each training course, which are closely related to the hot and difficult issues in investment banking. Students are divided into groups to communicate and discuss based on the actual work, take part in learning and exchange with questions, be close to actual combat, and combine learning with application. After returning, the results of the project report were formed.
