Detailed process of IELTS written test:

Listening test:

The first is IELTS listening. At this time, foreigners will briefly introduce the test method in English, and then try on headphones. He will play a recording and ask if the sound is loud or light. Is there something wrong with the earphone (please ask if so)? Everyone will hand out the answer sheet when there is no problem, and then he will teach you how to fill in the name, test number, date and so on. After everyone fills it out, they will hand out the test papers. Before that, he would say: don't drive (don't drive). Then everyone put on headphones, and when they hear the beginning, they open the papers and start the exam.

The listening test lasts 40 minutes and the topic is divided into four parts. The first part is the dialogue that will happen in daily life (usually two people), and the second part is the monologue related to life; The third part is academic dialogue (usually more than two people), and the fourth part is academic paper speech, which is becoming more and more difficult (and in order to screen elites again, sometimes some sentences will have a strong accent or authentic words). Usually the first three parts will be divided into two paragraphs to answer different questions. Candidates will have a short time to review after listening to each recording (but they will not repeat it, so they should write the answer immediately). It takes 30 minutes to complete all the recording, and the time left for candidates to fill in the answers from the test paper to the answer sheet is 10 minute. When the time is up, the examiner will collect the test paper and let the candidates turn over the answer sheet.

Reading:

After listening, it is IELTS reading. Listening questions have been collected, reading questions have been sent, and the test paper cannot be opened. Answer sheet is the antonym of listening. When he says "start", everyone will open the test paper and start the exam. At the same time, he will write down the start time and end time on the blackboard. The exam lasts 60 minutes and the topic is divided into three parts. Each paragraph is about 1200- 1500 words, about 13- 14 questions, totaling 40 questions. When the time comes, the examiner will collect the answer sheet and test paper.

Writing:

After reading it, you just write it. After the reading questions and answer sheets are put away, hand out the writing answer sheets and questions. Of course, the topic can't be opened. He will also teach you how to write your name, test number and date until he says exam. Of course, he will also write down the starting and ending time on the blackboard (if the article is too long and there is not enough paper, you can ask the examiner for paper), and the time is 60 minutes. There are two topics. The first is to read pictures (class A) or letters (class G), which takes 150 words, 20 minutes; The second is an argumentative or explanatory paper (mainly discussion), which requires 250 words and 40 minutes. Time together, and finally collected together. It is best to write a big composition (250 words) after handing out the paper, because the score is relatively large, and finally write a small composition in the rest of the time. After all, after collecting the papers, send a notice of the time and place of the oral exam, and then you can leave the examination room with your own things.
