The unified English examination for adult bachelor's degree (also known as "Adult English Level 3") is a unified examination organized by the provincial higher education authorities. Its purpose is to objectively test the English language knowledge and application ability of non-English major adult graduates who apply for bachelor's degree in this region, and to check whether it meets the general requirements of English teaching for ordinary undergraduate education (non-English major). It is one of the necessary conditions for graduates of adult higher education in various provinces and cities to obtain adult bachelor's degree. Different provinces and cities have slightly different types of degree English exams, but they generally include the following three types: reading comprehension, words and grammar, and cloze.

Because the degree English test is not a national unified test, it is organized by all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities to register for the test, and the test time is not the same. The specific registration and examination time shall be subject to the notice issued by the local academic degree office or the candidate's institution.
