Binjiang District is a district under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Located on the south bank of Qiantang River, it originally belonged to Xiaoshan City, Zhejiang Province. It was established in June1996+February 12 by Xixing Town, Changhe Town and Puyan Town of Xiaoshan City. The east and south of Binjiang District are adjacent to Xiaoshan District.
