I transferred from WTF to ITF, and now I have a black belt at ITF. ITF's technique is more about hitting the ball, while WTF's technique has small range, small flaw and fast speed, but in fact, the leg movements are similar in actual combat. The biggest difference in actual combat is the combination of fist and fist. Although only the upper straight fist was added, the geometric level of tactical change increased. When the opponent's attention is on your fist in the upper section, the legs in the middle section cooperate with the blow, and vice versa. The effect of three-dimensional attack is completely different from that of one-legged attack and defense.
Personal suggestion: you can go to ITF Dojo to have a look. If you still want to focus on WTF, you can go to Sanda Hall for a period of time, not long, just three months. Or go to the boxing gym.
