Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and the University of Reading in the United Kingdom jointly organized the Master of English Education Program, which was certified by the Ministry of Education as a Sino-foreign cooperative education program. Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (the top three in foreign language economics and trade in China) and Reading University (ranked 205 in QS World University) jointly trained.

Upon completion of relevant studies, the students are granted a master's degree in English language education with the approval of the University of Reading. This degree is internationally accepted and has been certified by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education, and obtained the relevant academic degree certificate.
