At the beginning of 2006, with the great attention and strong support of the municipal party committee and municipal government, the new school building of Xianshun Pipa School broke ground near Liaohe River. Now the first phase of the project has been put into use, and a beautiful modern multifunctional teaching building stands on the beautiful bank of Liaohe River. The school covers an area of 10000 square meters, and the building area of the teaching building is 7800 square meters. The cost of the first phase project exceeds150,000 yuan. The school has a senior professional concert hall that can accommodate more than 300 people, more than 20 spacious classrooms, more than 30 piano rooms, and standard dance rooms, art rooms, libraries, computer rooms, multi-function halls, hotel dormitories, canteens, bathrooms and other supporting facilities.

With pipa as the leading major, the school offers guzheng, erhu, bamboo flute, dulcimer, zhongruan, suona, cucurbit flute, piano, vocal music, dance, art, performance, broadcast hosting and other majors.

The school offers: art preschool classes, art high school training classes, amateur training classes, pipa professional pre-examination training classes, special speed-up classes in winter and summer vacations, etc. With the continuous development and improvement of the school, nine-year compulsory education and undergraduate education will be implemented.
