One of the earliest new institutions of higher learning founded by China people, formerly known as an academy, was founded in 1897. 1998, the original four schools of Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University merged to form a new Zhejiang University.

3. Ningbo University

Soft science ranks 10 1 in China, 6th in Zhejiang universities, 82nd in China by Alumni Association, and 2nd in Zhejiang universities. Ningbo University was founded in 1986 and 1996. The former Ningbo University, Ningbo Normal University and Zhejiang Fisheries College merged to form a new Ningbo University, and the Ministry of Education, Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City jointly established universities. 4. Zhejiang Normal University ranks 9 1 in the national department of soft science, Zhejiang universities rank fourth, the national alumni association ranks 87th, and Zhejiang universities rank fourth.

Formerly known as Hangzhou Normal University, it was founded in 1956 and moved to Jinhua, Zhejiang in 1965. 1980 is listed as a provincial key university, the first batch of key construction universities in Zhejiang Province, and a national famous normal university.

5. Hangzhou Dianzi University

Soft science ranks 97th in China, 5th in Zhejiang universities, 92nd in China and 5th in Zhejiang universities.

Founded in 1956, IT is an earlier IT institution of higher learning in China, one of the first five key universities in Zhejiang Province, a key university in Zhejiang Province, and a university jointly established by the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau and Zhejiang Province.
