School profile

Nanchang Contemporary Art School, founded in 1986, is the first private full-time academic school approved by Nanchang Education Bureau, including fine arts, music, dance, broadcasting, choreography, pure culture and other majors. The school implements semi-militarized management and "trinity" teaching mode, and the logistics service is fine and comprehensive. The new campus of the school is located in Shunwai Road, covering an area of 103 mu, with brand-new facilities such as teaching building, dormitory building, library, canteen and sports ground.

Teaching idea

According to the characteristics of art students, Nanchang Contemporary Art School adopts the "trinity" teaching method, that is, step-by-step teaching, hierarchical counseling, sectional assessment, and the combination of subject knowledge and problem-solving skills. According to the students' foundation, specialty, level and hobbies, the school implements class placement, classification and hierarchical teaching, so as to teach students in accordance with their aptitude. In teaching and research, we should adopt the teaching and research strategy of "integrating training and research", give full play to the leading role of teaching and research groups and lesson preparation groups in organization and specialty, hold regular teaching seminars, and organize teachers to participate in teaching and research training every semester.

In order to cultivate students' ability of self-management and independent living, and create a peaceful and stable learning and living environment, the school implements semi-military closed management, and students live on campus in principle. Access control management is strictly implemented at the school gate, and students are not allowed to leave the school unless they ask for leave. Leave must be reported to parents and class teacher for approval according to the process. In order to guide students to develop good study habits and life schedules, the school conducts study and life in strict accordance with the schedules, and the teaching staff in all positions of the school strictly control the whole process of "five in one".
