Invigilation, as its name implies, is to monitor candidates. In fact, the invigilator has many important things to do besides monitoring the candidates.
1, check the information of candidates.
Candidates check the admission ticket when they enter school, and compare it with the photos collected in advance to confirm whether the photos are consistent with themselves. Candidates can only be admitted if they are directly behind. This work can eliminate the occurrence of substitute exams.
2, detect whether to carry prohibited items.
When candidates enter the examination room, they need to have a full-body probe to avoid bringing electronic devices such as mobile phones into the examination room. The use of metal detectors has been specially trained before the exam, and they are all scanned from front to back, from top to bottom, from ear to sole. Admission is allowed only if there is no problem.
3. Issue answer sheets, test papers and draft papers.
If you think this job is easy, you are naive. The distribution of these items needs to be carried out in strict accordance with the process according to the signal prompt of the examination room. The most complicated thing is the answer sheet. When you hear the unpacking signal, you should show the candidates the sealing condition. Then open it with a knife. The sealed bag has an inner tongue and an outer tongue. When unsealing, only the outer tongue can be cut. When the knife reaches into the mouth of the bag, it needs to be carefully checked, and it will cut the inner tongue carelessly.
After unpacking, count the quantity and paste the bar code. Barcode has a pasting area, and it is easy to stick when your hand shakes. Bar code damage is a serious work error, and it needs to be replaced by a new one.
After pasting, issue the answer sheets in order. Each candidate's information is different, and no mistakes are allowed.
4. Remind candidates to fill in personal information.
The answer sheet, draft paper and test paper need to be filled out separately. Although there is a signal reminder, there are always students who can't hear it, or they don't implement it when they hear it. Almost every exam has filled in the wrong candidate's information: missing, wrong, not filled, all kinds.
5. Fill in all kinds of information in the examination room and sign it.
The collection of test papers and other work needs to be signed, and the cover of the answer card bag and test paper bag also needs to fill in the examination room information, invigilator information, absence information and so on.
On the blackboard, you need to fill in the test subjects, test time, answer sheet and test paper pages.
6. Monitor candidates to avoid violations.
This is also the most boring and difficult in the invigilation process. Chinese, math and English exams take up to two hours, and other subjects take up to one and a half hours. In this long 120 minutes, the two invigilators, one after the other, stood and sat like two stupid people, their eyes shifted from one candidate to another.
Full monitoring. You can't walk around frequently, you can't stand by the candidates for too long, you can't shake your legs, you can't … chat, read books, read newspapers, let alone.
From time to time, I enter a state of confusion: my mind seems to have thought of everything, but it seems that I have thought of nothing; Time seems to have stopped. Looking at the watch over and over again, it feels like a long time, but the clock clearly shows that it has just passed five minutes.
Finally, I began to accept my fate and didn't even bother to look at my watch. I didn't wake up until the prompt sounded at the end of the exam: I finally finished a class.
At this time, because it is really boring, it is the easiest to get sleepy. Especially when I saw the candidates falling asleep on their desks one after another, I silently lamented that the invigilator was the most pitiful person in the examination room.
7. Submit test papers, answer sheets and draft papers.
As soon as the bell rings, all the supplies will be assembled at once. One teacher is responsible for collecting and the other is responsible for checking. If the verification is correct, let the candidates leave. Tidy up the examination room supplies, close the doors and windows, shield the instrument signals and leave the examination room.
So far, not everything is fine. There is one of the most important tasks, and only after it is completed can it be considered as a success.
8. The invigilation is not over until all the materials are verified again.
Answer sheets, draft papers and test papers need to be handed over to specialized personnel for rechecking. The answer sheet needs to be put into a plastic bag for weighing, and the draft paper needs to be bound and put into a bag for sealing. After the answer sheet is attached to the inner tongue, a sealing strip is attached to the outside, and the draft paper and the test paper are sealed with a binding machine. After all the materials were handed in, an exam was over.
