You can apply for immigration if you have obtained a degree of more than 2 years and a skilled immigrant score of 65 or above.

However, due to the different places of immigrants in different majors, admission is now based on the scores from high to low. The more popular accounting major needs 75+ to be a skilled immigrant this year. Accounting is undoubtedly an immigration major. What about other majors?

2. Immigration major

(1) business: accounting and actuarial science.

What needs to be mentioned here is that ANU is one of the four universities in Australia that can offer complete actuarial courses, and it is also the only university recognized by the Australian Actuaries Association that is qualified to award bachelor's and master's degrees in actuarial science.

Second, the conditions for international students to immigrate to Australia

1. Age

On the date of receiving the invitation to apply for immigration, the age of the applicant:

18 to 24 years old, 25 points;

Between the ages of 25 and 32, score 30 points;

Between the ages of 33 and 39, score 25 points;

Between 40 and 44 years old, get 15 points;

Between 45 and 49 years old, 0 points.

Anyone over 50 years old or 50 years old is not eligible to apply.

2. English ability

On the date of receiving the invitation to apply for immigration, my IELTS score is not less than 6, and the test date for obtaining this IELTS score is within two years. Academic IELTS or immigration IELTS scores are recognized.

If the four scores are not less than 8 points, score 20 points;

If the score of the four items is not less than 7 points, score 10;

The English proficiency score corresponding to other IELTS scores is 0.

When the English proficiency score is 0, as long as the total score can reach the passing score, the applicant can still apply for a classified skilled immigrant visa.

3. Nominate technical occupations

Applicants for immigrant visas 189, 190, 489 must provide proof of passing the relevant immigration occupation assessment when submitting the application for immigration intention (EOI), and the nominated occupation must be on the corresponding list of Australian skilled occupations;

Applicants for other types of immigrant visas must provide proof that they have applied to the relevant immigration vocational assessment agencies for vocational assessment when submitting their application for immigrant visas, and the nominated occupations must be on the corresponding list of skilled occupations in Australia.

4. Overseas work experience

Work experience here is defined as working at least 20 hours a week, paid, engaged in the applicant's immigration nomination occupation or related occupations on the Australian technical occupation list.

On the date of receiving the invitation for immigration application, the applicant has accumulated at least:

3 years working experience, 5 points;

Have 3-5 years working experience, get 10;

Have 8 work experiences and get 15 points.

5. Work experience in Australia

On the date of receiving the invitation to apply for immigration, the applicant has accumulated at least:

Have 1 year working experience, get 5 points;

Have 3 years working experience, get 10;

Have 5 years working experience and get 15 points;

Have 8 work experiences and get 20 points.

Remarks: Overseas work experience and Australian work experience can be added up to 20 points.

6. Education

The applicant has obtained an Australian university or an overseas university recognized by Australia on the date of receiving the invitation letter for immigration application.

Doctoral degree, 20 points;

Bachelor degree, honorary bachelor degree or master degree, 15 points;

Graduation certificate (junior college), grade 3 or grade 4 certificate, get 10.

7. Studying in Australia

Plus 5 points.

The requirement is that the applicant has completed at least 16 months of courses in Australia (it can be one course' two courses or more), and the courses in Australia must be closely related to the nominated occupation.

8. Community languages

Plus 5 points.

The applicant has passed the quasi-professional translation certification of the Australian Translation Certification Association (both translation and interpretation are acceptable).

9. Spouse skills

Plus 5 points.

Their spouses need to meet the following four conditions:

1) Under 45 years old.

2) All four IELTS items are not less than 6 points. Academic IELTS or immigration IELTS scores are recognized.

3) The nominated occupation has been evaluated by relevant certification bodies in Australia (the nominated occupation and the main applicant are located in the same SOL).

4) Having no less than 65,438+02 months' work experience in the past 24 months before submitting the immigration application (the occupation he is engaged in is on the list of technical occupations in Australia, and he is a paid job with a working time of not less than 20 hours per week); Or meet the two-year study requirements in Australia.

10. Occupation year

Plus 5 points.

Applicants need to complete the one-year (within 4 years before the date of receiving the invitation for immigration) immigration vocational training program approved by the Minister of Immigration.

1 1. State/regional government guarantee

Plus 5 points.

The applicant applying for the 190 visa is guaranteed by the government of an Australian state or region.

This principle does not apply to 189 visa application.

12. state/regional government guarantee or relative guarantee (remote areas)

The bonus for this item is 10.

Applicants applying for a 489 visa, if guaranteed by the state/region government or relatives.

This award is not applicable to visa applications in categories 189 and 190.

13. Studying in remote areas

Plus 5 points.

The prerequisite for obtaining this bonus is that the applicant meets the requirements of studying in Australia for two years, and the campus and residence of the applicant's school are located in remote areas of Australia or cities with low population growth.
