Shenzhen MSUBIT University is a Chinese-foreign cooperative university with independent legal personality, which is jointly funded by Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, Beijing Institute of Technology and Lomonosov Moscow State University (hereinafter referred to as "Moscow University").

Different from traditional national universities, it is the only Sino-foreign cooperative university in China and the first Sino-Russian joint university in China. The teaching languages are Chinese, Russian and English.
